The group text
Swap requests scroll away. Nobody knows if a trade was okayed, and the owner finds out at opening time.
Every swap goes on the Shift Board, gets claimed by a teammate, and only counts once you approve it.
TagIn puts your team’s schedule in everyone’s pocket and lets workers trade shifts with one tap, while you keep the final say. Set it all up from your phone in one sitting. No laptop, no spreadsheet, no group-chat chaos.
Now in beta for iPhone and Android · built for teams of up to 30
Most small teams run on a photo of a paper schedule, a spreadsheet nobody can open on their phone, and a group text where “can anyone cover Saturday?” gets buried under memes. Shifts go uncovered, people show up on the wrong day, and the owner spends the evening sorting it out.

It's out of date the minute someone changes a shift, and everyone is working from a different version.
There's one live schedule. Change it and everyone's phone updates, with a push notification so they actually notice.
Built for chains with HR departments: long setup, a desktop dashboard, and features a 12-person café never uses.
Just scheduling and trades, done well, set up entirely on your phone, at one flat price for the whole team.
TagIn was designed around one promise: the admin side should be the easiest part. No web portal to learn, no training session. Four steps and your team is in.
Sign in with Apple, Google or email. Name your workplace, set its time zone, and add the positions you schedule, like Barista or Cashier.
Make a code whenever you need one and text it to your team. It expires on its own after 24 hours, and you can hit Stop Code to close it early.
You're notified when someone joins. They wait on a pending screen until you accept them and match them to a name on your team, or decline. Nobody sees your schedule without your okay.
Tap in shifts using saved presets, or copy last week and tweak it. Hit Publish and every person on the schedule gets a push notification.
Employees get a simple app with My Schedule, Shift Board, Alerts and Settings. It feels at home on iPhone and Android, in light or dark mode.
Your shifts for this week and next, with the position, the hours and a running weekly total. Flip the Me / Team switch to see who you’re working with. The whole team’s schedule is visible read-only, so nobody has to ask.
30 hours. Off Wednesday, Thursday and Sunday. Times are Eastern.
Can’t make a shift? Drop it on the Shift Board. Teammates see it, one taps Claim, and the trade waits for a manager’s approval. It stays your shift until it’s approved, so a shift is never left uncovered by accident.
Push notifications cover what matters: a new schedule, a shift up for grabs, a trade approved or denied. Managers see pending approvals and overtime warnings in one list and act on them right there. No SMS fees, no missed texts.
Choose which job positions can trade with which. Trades outside the rules never reach the board.
Schedule history shows who added, edited or approved each shift, and when.
Make a shift lead an admin so you're not the only one approving trades. Hand off ownership any time.
Codes last 24 hours, Stop Code ends one early, and every newcomer waits for your approval.
Save your usual shifts once. Most weeks, building the schedule is copy, adjust, publish.
If your subscription lapses, schedules turn read-only. Everything is still there when you come back.

Yes. Your team can mix both, and everyone sees the same live schedule.
They only see a pending screen. Nothing on your schedule is visible until you approve them, and you can decline with one tap. Codes also expire after 24 hours, or right away with Stop Code.
It stays yours. A shift only moves to someone else after a teammate claims it and a manager approves the trade.
TagIn uses push notifications, so there are no SMS charges and nothing gets lost in a crowded text thread.
Yes. Add other admins to build schedules and approve trades. Every change is tagged with the admin who made it.
Your schedules turn read-only. Nothing is deleted, and editing comes back as soon as you resubscribe.
